Casa no Campo was born from a simple but profound desire: to create a space where people could reconnect with nature, rejuvenate and rediscover their inner peace. Richard, our founder, was attracted by the serenity of the Costa Vicentina and decided to turn this quiet corner into a haven for rest, recreation and learning.

Danke das wir hier sein durften, es ist ein Wunderbarer Ort mit viel Natur und Ruhe um zu sich selbst zu Finden. Die Zimmer sind Schön Ausgestattet und es ist sauber. Besonders ist die Dusche mit Blick durch ein Fenster auf einen Feigenbaum. Es ist alles Schön mit Naturstein Dekoriert. Die Küche ist sehr gross und hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt Vorratskisten und einen Grossen Kühlschrank zum aufbewahren. Einkaufen im Nächsten Ort war kein Problem da Richard uns im Auto mitgenommen hat. Es war sehr Schön mit Richard seiner Freundin und seiner Mutter. Sehr Nett, Zuvorkommend und Gesprächig. Auf dem Gelände gibt es einen Platz mit Hängematte, viele Obstbäume und Bowie... Bowie ist ein Toller Hund, er ist sehr verspielt und wird nie müde 🙂 Er ist den Ganzen tag auf dem Gelände unterwegs und ist für jeden spass zu haben. Wir hatten 3 Nächte gebucht und haben dann noch verlängert weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Das Meer ist nur 15 geh minuten entfernt, surf und schwimm strand dann etwas weiter. Ca 20 minuten zu Fuss an den Klippen bis man einen guten Spot findet. Die Sonnenuntergänge, Mond, Sterne sowie die Natur ist in Porto Covo und Umgebung Atmeberaubend und seine Zeit wert, lieber ein Paar mehr Tage bleiben, ein Bischen Runter kommen von Alltagsstress und die Natur erkunden. Es gibt verschiedene Wanderwege am Meer oder ins Landes innere zu einem Süswassersee. Danke für die Tolle Zeit und für die Gastfreundschaft.

I feel very lucky to have discovered Casa no campo and had the pleasure of being a guest for 6 weeks this summer. Casa no campo is a place where you can completely disconnect, go back to basics and be in an authentic environment where everybody is looking out for each other. The location of the house is on the coast but also in the countryside, this unique combination gives you the opportunity to be surrounded by beautiful nature whilst being a short walk from stunning beaches. The coast is scattered with great surf spots which can be reached by a short car journey and cheap board rental can be found in neighbouring town Milfontes. The rooms are cosy and comfortable and the other guests respected the environment of the house so noise was never an issue, I slept like a baby even in an 8 bed dorm! The outdoor kitchen was one of my favourite features of the house and has everything you need for cooking. The shared bathrooms were spacious and the shower facilities exceeded expectations. All areas of the house were kept very clean and regularly maintained. Thanks again to Richard and Martim (and of course little Bowie) for being great hosts and for making my stay one to remember, I look forward to returning to this special place one day soon. Das Hostel ist unglaublich schön. Sehr abgelegen, genau zwischen Porto Covo und Villa Nova. Der Strand ist zu Fuß in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Besitzer waren unglaublich freundlich und es entstand schnell eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Küche ist mit allem was man braucht zum Kochen vorhanden. Alles sehr Sauber und gepflegt! Absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt zwei mal verlängert, weil es uns so sehr gefallen hat. The Hostel was really beautiful. It was between Port Covo and Villa Nova. You have to walk to the Beach ca. 10 Minutes. The owners were very friendly and you had familiar atmosphere. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Everything is really clean. We decided two times to stay longer because we liked it so much.

Casa no Campo ist ein sehr ruhiges und angenehmes Hostel in dem man sich direkt Wohl fühlt! Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Hostel nur empfehlen und werde es aufjedenfall wieder buchen.

Such a relaxing place! Pure silence day and night and my favourite part was Bowie the dog 🐶. He would come to wake us up in the morning lay at the dormitory door. I’d recommend the walk to the beach through the beautiful trees and the guys here are great for company with also more than fair prices on drinks! See you guys again soon!
